What is this?
A wallet for receiving and sending Ravencoin (RVN).
Open it in your browser and create your wallet.
Your first steps
Choose the web, phone or computer app. Set up a wallet, check your recovery words, receive RVN, then try sending a small amount.
The Android app is being updated in stages. Try the latest features in the web app first.
Get the Mac, Windows and Linux appCustomers: find a shop on the neighborhood map or scan its QR. Choose from the menu and review your order. Order acceptance and payment completion are separate steps.
Shop owners: set up the shop and manage menus and orders in the computer app. Pair a phone with the shop’s connection QR. The shop server must be connected; public listings require server support.
In My Shop on your computer, select “Create promotion” or ask Ravi. Your saved menu, prices and opening hours become posts for X, Instagram and KakaoTalk in Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese. Shops with an order link can also save a share image with an order QR. Review the content and publish it yourself.
KRW sales ledger CSV: in the desktop app, open My Shop → Sales · Ledger, choose a date range and select “Export to Excel.” Keep paid orders’ amounts, RVN quantities, exchange rates, source exchanges, quote times and transaction IDs (txid) for your tax records. The CSV is saved in Downloads, or in the app’s data folder if Downloads does not exist.
Write down your 12 recovery words in order, keep them safe and finish the app’s backup check. If both your device data and recovery words are lost, we cannot restore your wallet.
Import music, videos, photos, PDFs and documents into Photo storage. Organize folders and playlists. Playback depends on the formats your browser supports.
Write and save documents offline, attach files from storage and export them. An asset draft does not issue an asset or reserve its name.
A browser or user can clear site data. Keep another copy of important files and documents. Storage settings are no substitute for a backup.
Both devices need RavenVault ready. File-transfer QR codes carry encrypted pieces of the file itself, rather than a link or payment address.
The web app allows 32 MiB (about 34 MB) per file. QR transfers can be slow, so try a small file first. Exchanging QR data does not need internet or Wi-Fi.
Allow camera access in a supported browser, keep the QR in focus and watch the progress. The web app cannot transfer files to nearby devices over Bluetooth.
A server lets you read the public ledger and deliver approved transactions. Connect to check balances, asset holders, payment completion and final auction results. An undelivered transaction is not a completed payment.
Companion connects the app to your computer for public-ledger lookups and delivery of approved transactions. You do not need to move your secret spending key or recovery words to the computer.
Start with the app’s public connection. For an advanced connection to your computer, use an encrypted HTTPS address. Browsers may block local HTTP addresses; a connection working in a native app may not work on the web.
Subscriptions and saved updates remain readable offline. New updates need a connection. An electronic signature identifies the approving key; it does not guarantee identity, copyright or an unused ticket.
Computer app & installation guidePLAY X Raven is now RavenVault. Your computer’s server, mining, Photo storage, shop, asset and conversation tools continue under the new name.
Your earlier web wallet stays with the site address and browser where you used it. This site cannot import it automatically. Use the previous-wallet entry when you need it.
Keep the old site’s data. Opening the new app does not automatically move or merge wallets, assets or stored files.
Open your earlier web walletBuilt-in help needs no key. An AI key comes from your own AI account. Choose a provider, add the key and test the connection to wake Ravi. On supported devices, tap the microphone, speak, review the text and press Send. Ravi helps with questions and payment preparation; voice cannot approve a payment. Review the amount, recipient and fees, then approve it yourself.
The web app can connect to Claude (Anthropic), OpenAI, Gemini (Google), Groq or OpenRouter. Lock your wallet before testing or asking an online AI. You can also choose a local AI on this computer. The phone uses the provider address you configure.
Connection tests and questions send your key and the required request to your chosen AI provider, whose pricing applies. The phone uses secure key storage; the web keeps the key in browser storage only if you choose to save it. Recovery words, AI keys and computer-backup passwords are different. Read-aloud replies can be switched off, and answers stay readable as text.
Add the web app to your home screen and it opens like an app. No store download is needed, and it is always up to date. This is the easiest way, so we suggest it first.
On iPhone, deleting the home-screen app can also delete the wallet data inside it. Please write your recovery words on paper first. Without them, even the operator cannot get your wallet back.
The web app opens right away without installing and is always current. The Play app is downloaded from the store. If you are new, we suggest the web app.
Wallets come in two layers. The top layer is a recovery-word wallet, and sub-wallets live inside it. Tap the wallet name at the top to open the picker.
Each set of recovery words is one wallet. One device can hold up to 4. The words differ, so the keys are separate. Keep larger amounts in a different recovery-word wallet.
Inside one set of recovery words you can make up to 20 sub-wallets. No new backup is needed, because the same words recreate them. But they share the same words, so they do not split the risk. If the words leak, all of them are at risk.
A daily wallet is for everyday use. If you leave the app and come back within 3 minutes, it does not ask again.
A vault wallet is for larger amounts. It locks as soon as you leave the app. It also locks after 1 minute without a touch. It asks you to confirm when you open it and when you send.
Tap the star in the wallet list and the app opens that wallet first. Only daily wallets can have a star. The starred wallet goes to the top of the list.
Press and hold a wallet row and the list wiggles. Then drag to reorder. Small up and down arrows also appear on each row. A vault wallet cannot go above a daily wallet. Tap “Done” when you finish.
In the same state, sub-wallets also show “Hide”. Hiding is not deleting. The money stays and still counts in the total. You can show a hidden wallet again from the hidden list.
It is off at first. In Settings, under “Send safety”, turn on gathering, then set a limit (RVN) and the vault wallet to receive. When your daily wallet goes over the limit, a card appears on Home asking whether to move money.
One tap on the card opens a review screen. Money moves only after you approve there. The receiver can only be your own vault wallet. The app never sends by itself.
If you send 25% or more of the balance, the review screen shows a “This is a large amount” box. You must tick it to send. You cannot turn this off, only make it stricter. In Settings you can pick 5%, 10%, 20%, or an RVN amount.
If many small deposits pile up, a send may need more pieces than one transaction can hold. Then the Send screen offers “Combine coins”. It gathers small pieces into a larger one inside your own wallet. No money goes to anyone else. After it is in a block (usually a few minutes), send again.
In the Activity tab, “Neighborhood used goods” lets you buy and sell with neighbors using RVN. Open your own post to see “Manage my post”.
You can switch the status between “For sale” and “Reserved”. When the deal is done, tap “Sold”. This cannot be undone.
To take a post down, tap “Delete post”. It asks once more. On some devices it may disappear from the list a little later.
Read notes from neighbors with “View notes”. A buyer checks the address received from the seller, then checks the amount again on the Send screen.
Tap the bell at the top right of Home to open “My tasks”. New money alerts show as a number on the bell.
The “Today” box at the top appears only when there is something new, such as notes, active bookings, or money alerts. Shop owners also see new orders. Tap its button to go straight there.
Below it you find neighborhood map, used goods, chat, shop and assets.
In the first Activity tab, “Talk”, you chat in open rooms anyone can join and exchange 1:1 messages with people whose address (npub) you know. Posting and messaging work after you open your wallet.
Room posts are public. They go to several shared chat servers (Nostr) where anyone can read them, and a post is hard to remove completely once sent. 1:1 messages are sealed in three layers of encryption, so even the chat servers cannot read them.
Go to Talk → My name tag → “Turn on notifications”. The Android app shows app notifications; the web app uses browser notifications (on iPhone, from the web app added to the Home Screen). Notifications never include the message text or the sender. Turn them on separately on each device.
Your Talk identity is made from your recovery words. Restore with the same words and you get the same address and name tag back — the same person as in RavenVault on your computer.
Messages still on the chat servers open again, including the ones you sent, because you keep your own copy. The servers are shared, though, so very old messages may have been deleted.
Your joined rooms, people you Hide, and hidden rooms or messages are stored only on the device, so they are gone after a restore. Join and choose again. Turn notifications on again on the new device too.
Anyone who knows your recovery words can read all your messages as well as take your money. Posts asking for money, recovery words or verification codes are scams. Staff never ask for recovery words by message.
Use this when the RVN server will not start in the computer (Windows) app. Find the words that match your screen below. Your wallet and files are not erased by this.
The first start can take a few minutes. If it stays the same for more than 10 minutes, follow the “Check in this order” steps below.
The server did not start, or it stopped on the way. Tap “Prepare everything at once” in the app again, then follow the steps below.
The server has not started receiving the ledger yet. Check that the internet is on, then follow the steps below.
If it still does not work, please send the log. Type %APPDATA%\Raven in the File Explorer address bar and press Enter, then open the file debug.log with Notepad. Take a photo of the last 20 lines and send it. The log does not contain wallet keys or passwords. If you see names or addresses, you may cover them first.
From app version 0.9.4 it is easier. In the app’s “Report a problem”, tick “Send the node log too”. You can preview what is covered before sending, and it is off at first.
About the app folder name: from 0.9.4 the app folder name changed from PlayXRaven to RavenVault. Only the name changed, so your files are not erased.
If you also lose your device data, you cannot recover the wallet. The operator cannot restore it. Write the words in order when you create it and complete the backup check.
Ravi is an optional guide. Built-in help works without an AI connection. If you enable an external AI, your questions go to that provider. Ravi cannot approve transfers.
Ordinary transfers have no development fee, but a network fee applies. Shop payments and asset trades have a 1% development fee. Check the amount before sending and read the fee details below.
Yes. Check your recovery backup, then try receiving and sending a small amount. Verify the address, fee and whether the transaction appears on the public ledger.
Yes. Open the web wallet in your browser. The first visit needs a connection; adding it to your home screen can wait. Check your backup before clearing browser data.
Use the email or phone number in the contact section below. Never send recovery words, passwords or private keys.

Create a wallet → back up your words → receive a small amount.
Complete the backup check before using it.
You can review how your funds move and what you pay.
Keys and recovery words are stored on your device, not held by the server. If you lose both your device data and recovery words, the operator cannot restore your wallet.
Review the amount, destination and fee, then approve on screen. Voice cannot approve a transfer.
Ordinary transfers pay only the network fee. Shop payments and asset trades have a 1% development fee. See the details below for who pays and minimum amounts.
Look up the receiving address or transaction ID (txid) in a Ravencoin block explorer to compare the amount and confirmations. A server accepting a transaction does not mean it is confirmed.
Other people can also see a public address’s balance and history. Use the page below to compare a certificate file with its public record.

Keep your essentials close
Save the app and the files you need while connected. Sending transactions and checking the latest public ledger still need a connection.
Show your address or QR from Receive. Connect to a server to check your current balance and whether a payment has completed.
Review a saved certificate’s electronic signature and compare its file with the public ledger. Current records need a connection. This does not guarantee the issuer’s identity or an item’s authenticity.
Photo storage holds videos, music, PDFs and documents as well as photos. Sort them into folders and playlists, and reopen the files you’ve saved.
Write offline, attach files and prepare an asset draft. An asset is an item registered on the public ledger. Issuing it needs a server connection and your approval.
Send file data by QR without internet or Wi-Fi. The web app allows 32 MiB (about 34 MB) per file. A long video can take a long time.
Keep up with creators
Follow creators and save their signed updates. A signature shows which key approved a message. Read saved updates whenever you like, even offline.
Browse shops and creationsOrdinary money transfers have no developer fee, only a network fee. Shop payments, asset sales, swaps, auctions and used-item sales all carry a 1% developer fee. On phone and web, the buyer or auction winner pays an extra 1% of the price. For a 100 RVN purchase, that means a 1 RVN developer fee plus a separate network fee.
Computer shops record 1% of the amount received as a developer fee: 100 RVN received means 1 RVN owed. Fees already paid at checkout are not recorded again. The owner can press “Send developer fees,” or the app checks every three minutes and sends them automatically while the shop wallet is unlocked.
For computer swaps and auctions, the buyer or auction winner also pays an extra 1% of the price.
Minimums: Phone and web used-item sales have a minimum developer fee of 0.00001 RVN. Computer swaps and auctions omit developer-fee payments below 0.01 RVN; computer shops send accumulated fees once they reach 0.01 RVN.

Your wallet address is the public number you share to receive money. Anyone who knows it can look up its balance and transactions on the public ledger.
Check completed payments, final auction results and current asset holders through a connected server. The web app cannot send files to nearby devices over Bluetooth. Holding a file or asset alone does not establish copyright or exclusive access.
